Divine Exotic Essentials is a Garifuna founded functional fine art house.
The House creates objects intended for daily presence and enduring significance. Each work is shaped to be handled, used, and kept, designed to belong wherever life unfolds.
DEE does not separate function from meaning. What is made is not decorative. It is placed with intention.
================================
THE PRACTICE
Works are formed through material discipline and time.
Marble, timber, cork, and surface are approached as responsive elements. Color, glow, and finish evolve through light, temperature, and use, revealing depth through interaction.
Change is not an effect. It is part of the work.
Nothing is rushed. Nothing is excessive.
================================
EDITIONS
The House releases work in limited editions.
Each edition is completed once. It is not revisited, reproduced, or extended. When a series closes, it enters the permanent House record.
Availability is deliberate. Some works are placed directly. Others are released by request.
================================
OWNERSHIP
DEE objects are created to be lived with, collected, and carried forward.
They do not follow seasons. They do not respond to trend. They exist beyond cycle and excess.
Ownership is intentional.

THE FOUNDER
DEE was founded by artist Diane Nicholas.
Her work centers on functional objects as carriers of culture, memory, and restraint. Each piece begins by hand and is resolved with care.
The House reflects a belief that art does not require distance. It requires presence.

The House is defined by what remains.
